International Marble Co. LLC (IMC) was established with the objective of producing and supplying top quality marble products. IMC is the flagship company of ALKALBANI GROUP, a leading business group with interests in diverse business activities based in the Sultanate of Oman. IMC is one of the few marble companies in the world to have achieved accreditation of ISO 9001 – Quality Management System and the first Company in GCC to have achieved accreditation of ISO 14001 – Environmental Management System and ISO 45001 – Occupational Health and Safety Management System with regard to Mining, Processing and Supply of Natural Marble. IMC is a member of the prestigious Marble Institute of America and has received various certificates and awards recognizing it as one of the best producers and one of the largest exporters in the Sultanate of Oman. IMC owns marble quarries having huge deposits situated at Ibri, Sultanate of Oman. IMC is a 100% Omani company, headed by its Chairman H.E. Sheikh Ali Bin Hamed Alkalbani. The quality of marble produced by IMC is of world class standards in terms of color, consistency, water absorption and strength and its products are exported to major international destinations.
In the short period since its inception in 1999, IMC has supplied its products to many prestigious projects internationally. IMC is presently represented by over 86 Agent spread across 63 countries globally and has a plan to cover more countries in the coming years.
IMC quarry and factory work non-stop round the clock, using world-class, state of the art equipment and machinery with a daily factory production capacity of around 16000 square meters. Both, quarry and factory, utilize highly advanced technology and machines imported from Europe, Japan and USA
